Spring Concert

On Saturday 29th March 2025 we sang a selection of lovely sacred music by Herbert Howells, Handel and others at the Church of St John the Evangelist in Boxmoor.

The concert included the anthem: Like as the hart desireth the waterbrooks by Herbert Howells and his Collegium Regale setting of the evening service canticles: Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis.

We also sang some choruses from Handel’s Messiah and other sacred music.

This concert was accompanied by Simon Worley on the Nicholson Organ at St John’s Church and was conducted by
Aeolian Singers’ Music Director: Stephen Jones.
